About Diploma in Theology Course
This course is intended to give students an understanding of theology for personal interest, or as a component in preparation for ministry, or in preparation for further study.
This course offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of religious traditions and the impact that they have had and continue to have, on the world in which we live today. It is designed as the basic training and equipping of Christians for vocational as well as ministry in the local church.
Duration
Our academic calendar is from July to June. This course takes place in 2 semesters.
Semester 1 : July 2024 to December 2024
Semester 2 : January 2025 to June 2025
The students would have to dedicate 2 hours per week for attending classes (extra 2 hours on second Saturdays).
First class commences on July 6, 2024.
Eligibility
The candidate applying for this program must meet the below criteria:
1) Should be a born again Christian
2) Should be older than 18 years of age as on 1st July 2024.
3) Should have the ability to read, write & comprehend Telugu (slight understanding of English will help).
4) A minimum of 10+2 (Intermediate) qualification or equivalent is necessary.
5) If the student has previously qualified in any certificate courses conducted by Christnet Academy, then, 10th Class qualification is sufficient.

Admissions
All Degrees Must Be Earned
Every degree and every certificate which we offer MUST be earned! We do NOT sell or give away our degrees and certificates. They MUST be earned. The credit hours required to earn our certificates, degrees and diplomas may be earned through a combination of studies offered through Christnet Academy and the credit we allow for your religious training and religious life work experience. Studies through “Christnet Academy & Christian Bible Institute & Seminary” will not make you better than others, but it will make you better than you were.
Admissions will be open from 9 PM on 31-May-2024 to 9 PM on 25-Jun-2024 only. Submission of admission form does not guarantee a confirmed seat in the course. Your application will be reviewed and it would be followed by a short interaction with Christnet Team, post which you will be granted entry & access to the course.
Fee
Major costs of this course are borne by Christnet Academy & Bethesda Ministries Trust. The fee charged to students is just a nominal fee to meet the required standards.

Exams & Qualification
At Christnet Academy, we place utmost importance on how well the students have grasped the contents of the course. Therefore, there would be subject-wise exams at the end of each semester.
TENTATIVE EXAM DATES:
Semester 1 : 29 & 30 November 2024
Semester 2 : 30 & 31 May 2025
- A minimum of 70% attendance (Class hours) is required during the semester whether virtually or in-person to qualify for the exam
- In addition to class room hours, the student will have to participate actively in all the Work assignments (home works) which will count towards the final score. A student is expected to attain a minimum of 60% score in the work assignments to qualify for the exams.
- All fees as prescribed must have been paid before the due dates.
- Semester exams total score would be weighted as 70% Final exam score & 30% Work assignments.
- A minimum of 40% marks must be secured in each subject, failing which the student would be ineligible for graduation.
